Toronto Zoo Sleep Over
Friday July 26th 4:15 PM - Saturday July 27th 10 am(approx)
Meet at The Toronto Zoo Admin Support Centre 316A Old Finch Ave.
Per Person Fee - $85.00 (Youth and Adults)
Groups are responsible for Ratio, Volunteer & Parent Overnight Compliance. Families are responsible for ensuring they are registered as a overnight parent through myscouts.ca

Geocaching
When: June 1st – August 31st
Where: Anywhere your section choses
Who: Any Colony, Pack, Troop, Company or Crew
Why: Because it is so much fun
Challenge: As a section we want to encourage you to go out and explore your community and then report back.
Colony: Find at least one cache
Pack: Find at least two caches that are at least 2km away from each other
Troop: Find at least one cache and place one cache must be 4km away from each other
Company: Find at least two caches at least 3km from each other and place at least one Cache
Crew: Same as Company but must also include a trackable

Urban Scouting Day – Paddling Skills
Work towards your paddling OAS badges or just enjoy a paddle along the Rouge River. Nine Scouter facilitated skill stations will be set up along the beach to help you earn your paddling OAS badges. Pick and choose which skills you want to learn!
When: Saturday August 24th, 2019, 9am to 12pm
Where: Location to Come
Cost: Free
What to bring: PFD (or lifejacket) and paddle if you have one, if not they will be provided for you. Please also bring a water bottle.
Drinks and snacks will be available for a small cost. All proceeds will go to cover the cost of the crests and maps.
DONATIONS of lifejackets that youth have outgrown, will be gratefully accepted.
Urban Scouting Day – Sailing
Join the 65th Sea Venturers in a day of sailing Lake Ontario! Participants will enjoy three rotations: demonstration of the mast derrick and rope workshops, tour of historical Fort York, and boat ride with oar training.
Maximum 30 participants.
When: Postponed; Date to be determined
Where: Inukshuk Park Toronto (789 Lake Shore Blvd W, Toronto, ON)
Cost: Free
What to bring: water bottle, lunch, PFD and warm clothes (boat ride can get windy)
*This event will run rain or shine. Boat ride will only run if weather is safe.
