About Scouting

                                                      http://greatertoronto.scouts.ca/sites/default/files/files/core3.jpg

We offer the most dynamic outdoor youth programs in Canada. Through hikes, camps and a wide variety of water activities, our programs instill a thirst for outdoor adventure that will last the rest of their lives.

All-Round Adventure!

But there's more to us than just the outdoors. Our programs also help develop self-confidence, teamwork and leadership skills. Scouting helps young people learn about and respect the environment, their communities and their world.

Been there, Done That - Better than ever!

We are Scouts Canada - the same organization that has been helping kids grow up since 1907. With over 100 years of experience, we must be doing something right. Just ask one of the 20 million Scouts worldwide and they'll tell you just how much we've done for them. By putting the youth at the centre of our organization, we're able to provide a program that will help your child reach their full all-round potential - no other organization does it as well as us!

With more than 100,000 members, Scouts Canada is the nation’s premier youth-serving organization.

With every new member, with every camp and every community service project, Scouts Canada makes one simple promise to Canadian youth, parents and society:

Scouts have fun adventuresAbout Scouts Canada
discovering new things and experiences
they wouldn’t discover elsewhere.
Along the way they develop into capable,
confident and well-rounded individuals,
better prepared for success in the world.
Scouts is the start of something great.
It starts with Scouts.

Scouts Canada’s national office is located in Ottawa. Scouts Canada is a not-for-profit organization (Charitable Registration No. 10776 1694 RR0028) and a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.

Scouts Canada, the country’s leading youth organization, offers challenging programs for boys, girls and youth age 5-26 in thousands of individual groups in most cities and towns across Canada.
