About Apple Day

Apple Day is a major fundraising activity for most Greater Toronto Groups. Through Apple Day, youth receive donations from the public and present an apple in appreciation. Each group has a designated area to canvass including neighbourhood stores, major cross-streets, door-to-door and other traveled areas.

  • If you have any general questions about Apple Day, please contact Jenevie Austin
  • If you have any questions about insurance certificates, please contact Rosalie Pelkey.
  • The Toronto Scout Shop has 2018 Apple Day crests for purchase.

Canvassing Day

Please ensure that you keep a list of contacts including your key group coordinator and your ASM's number in case there are issues on the canvassing date. Certain locations will require a copy of your insurance certificates before you start.

Council Apple Day Coordinators

Please contact your Area Coordinator to find out how you can get involved. You can also download the Apple Day Operations and Guidelines document to help guide you.
