Event Description

What is “SCOPE”

SCOPE is an international exchange program that brings together Canadian and American Scouts and adults for an extended weekend of fun and friendship. The program has its beginning in 1967 with Canada's Centennial celebrations and has continued every four years since. Canadians visited the United States in 1967, as part of their celebration of Canada's Centennial Year. The following year, members of the newly-created Baden-Powell District joined their Canadian hosts for an encampment of 1,750 men and boys at Woodbridge, Ontario, in Boyd Conservation Park.

Some of the planned activities include STEM program, a climbing wall, bouldering wall, low rope course, BMX bike course, boating program, etc. Saturday evening will include a fireworks display.

Letters of Intent to Participate form by November 15th, 2016 or ASAP. Space is limited so act now. Check out the flyer for more details.
