Dear Scouters, It is my sincere pleasure to announce the appointment of Cameron Rzadki as the Deputy Council Youth Commissioner — Membership Growth, effective immediately. He will work alongside Chris Case, Deputy Council Commissioner of Membership Growth to focus on our Council’s recruitment, retention, and community engagement efforts. As one of Scouts Canada’s 5 Priorities, Membership Growth is especially important in ensuring that Greater Toronto Council will continue to thrive and see success for years to come. More »
Over the past thirty-five years, countless scouters and youth have come together to make this camp an amazing experience for all involved. However, the number of volunteers has dwindled over the years, making it difficult to keep this annual tradition going. To be blunt, we do not have enough volunteers to plan and run the 2018 Scout Brigade of Fort George event, let alone those to come. More »

Helmets are required for both youth and Scouters participating in skating and tobogganing activities during all Scouting Events. Helmets are mandatory for tobogganing at all COSC camps, but please bring your own as our camps do not have any for loan. More »
