Wood Badge Part 1

November 13-15, 2020 at Camp Samac, Oshawa

Section Specific Workshops help to to relate to the online mondules, with active discussions and further learning as you practice planning your program using The Canadian Path, demonstrating your skills in meeting management of opening, ceremonies, campfire, campsite design considerations and so on, based on your current role in Scouting. 

 

Wood Badge Part 2

April 3-5 & May 29-31, 2020 at Camp Samac, Oshawa.

Trail Card Competency Building. These weekends provided an opportunity to complete your Trail Cards with in-person mentoring. About 1/3 of the training workshops are Section Specific to help you plan, learn techniques, ceremonies, camping preparation and building relationships with other Scouters who can assist you with program well after you complete the weekends.

You will move the needle forward from "I Know" to "I Can" to "I Have".

Upon completion, join your local Gilwell Club network to continue your learning. 

 

Standard First Aid

First Aid Training Certification Courses can be organized for your Scouters or Section, contact our Training Coordinators for details.  

 

Youth Course Offerings

Dec 4-6, 2020 YLT Youth Leadership Training, (Venturer) , Camp Samac, Oshawa

Arrive 7pm - depart 12pm includes meals, activities and indoor accommodations. $65 

This is a for-youth-by-youth leadership program aimed towards Venturer Scouts, incorporating the new Canadian Path Trail Cards. We invite you to come out and learn about leadership and refine existing skills all while having fun and meeting some new fellow Scouts.
